What you need to get started
- A vocal. Easiest route is a non-exclusive vocal from sites like vocalfy.com or voclio.com. They're cheap, perfect for first-time tracks, and you keep 100% of your master. Most students who've gone through the program use one of these.
- Ableton Live. The whole program is built inside Ableton — that's the DAW we'll be working in together.
- You're making melodic bass. Think Seven Lions, ILLENIUM, Nurko, Culture Code — that's the lane this program is built for.

How the 30 days are structured
Four sessions. One finished release.
We share the same Ableton project through Dropbox and stay perfectly in sync. Every session is captured by FathomAI so you can rewatch and reapply the workflow to every future track.
- 01Pre-program
You send me 4 reference tracks
Two references for the type of verses you love and want your track to incorporate, and two for the drops. This gives me a clear idea of the direction and sounds to build into your song. Using multiple references means we never end up copying any one track — we pull inspiration from a few of your favourites instead.
- 02Session 1
Intro through to the drop
We start from a blank Ableton session and I build the entire first half of the song with you — sound selection, chords, intro, build-up, all the way into the drop.
- 03Session 2
The full drop
We design and build the full drop — basses, leads, layering, processing. The core moment of any melodic bass track, made to hit with the same impact as an ILLENIUM, Seven Lions or Nurko-style release.
- 04Session 3
Second half of the track
We finish the second half — second verse, second drop, breakdown, outro, transitions and ear candy. By the end of this session the full arrangement is done.
- 05Session 4
Final mix & master
We mix and master the track together. By the end of this session your song is ready to upload to Spotify and the rest of the platforms — at the same quality bar as a real Culture Code release.

How we stay in sync
Shared Dropbox project, always up to date
After every session I press save and the project automatically downloads to your end through our shared Dropbox folder. You then have the next week to play with the project, add ideas or make changes. When you're done you press 'Collect All and Save' and it auto-syncs back to me, ready for the next session. Simple.
